Rightly so. We have had 2 apologies from PGMOL for 2 incorrect decisions (saints handball, City handball). No other club has had 2 apologies, now this. Not just the penalty, but Mane put his hands in the face of not 1 but 2 players and didnt get a red.

I expect a 3rd apology but that doesnt get us points back.

surely ssn would have that on loop if mane did put his hands on 2 players ? thats how it works right

Both clubs get decisions , weve had a couple at Arsenal & Everton , and the Dippers have had theirs , but the difference is there is always a national inquiry and questions asked in parliament when we recieve a fortunate decision.
There is hardly a mention when the Dippers gain an advantage , the Mane gouge against Everton wasnt even mentioned on MOTD , imagine if one of our players had attempted poking someones eye out , it would have been in the media for the duration and a six match ban for the player.
Ther eis no doubt the football hierarchy and all the media are desperte for a Dipper quadruple , they are primed for it and the documentries have already been made , its our duty to the world of football to f*ck the Dippers up.

Exactly right, the odd ones we do get are put under massive scrutiny whereas the multiple ones that go for them, or against us, are just ignored or swept under the carpet.

Everton to ask why Matip challenge on Gordon was not given as penalty in Merseyside derby

Everton will contact the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) to query why a challenge they feel should have led to a penalty was not reviewed further in the Merseyside derby.

They will get a nice apology and that’s it ......... I can understand basic human error in getting decisions wrong but with all this technology they are still making a mess of it ......... if they can’t get it right with the technology right in front of them then to me it’s a waste of time ......... I mean forget about this one ........ how many decisions have they got badly wrong with VAR there ????? 20+ ????? It was brought in place to sort these tight decisions out but it’s not even getting that right :( still when you get the useless twats who are reffing week after week then your always gonna get it :( VAR is not the problem it’s the crap officials that are the issue and sadly this will continue to go on until there is a dramatic rise of the standard of reffing in this country

Its a regular pattern with Liverpool.

Against us in both games they should have been down to 10, perhaps 9 in the recent home game as they got away with numerous blatant card offences before the same players finally got carded, same as in your game where Alexander-Arnold should have had more than 1 yellow, Mane off (as he should have been in the 1st minute v Chelsea but again only a yellow),even v the Rags they were lucky not to be down to 10.And thats just recent games.

Then you have them manipulating VAR to rule Sterlings goal as offside against them where the correct frame when the ball was released shows it was onside.

Even the cup games, v Leicester and 3-1 down Morton gets a yellow instead of a deserved red, v Cardiff with their pet England on Var, the keeper avoids a red and Cardiff denied a penalty so they have had a helping hand in both cups this season, plus in the CL Group stages, Athletic going down to 10 men in both games for much less than they got away with v us.

The media are scared shit of them so are so far up thier arse its untrue. Officials know any decision given against them will be scrutinised and a media campaign having a go at them. The officials are scared. Then you have Riley and his perfect officials appointments for them, knowing putting people in charge who wont give anything of note against them. Look into how often Darren England is on Var for them.

To finish, i thought players no longer got booked for diving due to Var, oh yes but Dippers its a card. Wrestling going on at every single corner at every single ground but recently only the Dippers got a penalty for it

You missed how they were handed a cup by pretending Lukaku was offside.

Those decisions in the Liverpool game were not down to incompetence.

Everton's early penalty claim was waved away very quickly as if someone told the ref 'no penalty' in the same way the blatant pen Foden was waved away without a second look.

VAR IS the problem as they are making bent decisions and making it appear like incompetence whilst hiding behind the technology.

Talking shite on the Arsenal game.

The referee ran in Martinelli’s way as he was about to have an easy open shot on goal to make it 2-1.

Bernardo dived for the penalty ages after the contact, anyone saying it wasn’t a dive is too biased, it was a definite dive to the point it’s actually funny.

1min 27secs… Xhaka actually moves his leg out of the way and Bernardo dived over fresh air, he had hold of his shirt but you don’t dive over like that when someone got hold of your shirt.

Also Rodri could have had two bookings and he went and scored the winner.

Southampton at home was the penalty to them that the ref overturned despite it looking very much like a pen from where I was sitting.

It was a blatant penalty for me



Didn’t get near the ball and ended up sat on top of the Southampton player from that position cutting across him. Walker ran off laughing when it was overturned.
