Premier League Games 23/24/25 June

I think Pep and Klopp are streets ahead of the other managers in the league. So Chelsea may improve and united with Bruno and Pogba almost certainly will be better next season. Lampard and Solsjkaer will never get their teams ahead of a Pep or Klopp team over a full season though.
Yeah, I’ll be amazed if it’s anything other than a two-horse race between us and Liverpool next season.

To be fair Everton played with no attacking intent for 75 minutes either. Never really understand why sides like Palace tonight, and Burnley on Monday, play like that. Just have a go and if you get battered so be it. Better to at least go down kicking rather than just abjectly accepting your fate.

Agree
It just bores any neutral fans.
I think united and Chelsea will up their fane next year so hopefully a better season/competition
Spurs and arsenal miles off though
Just hope we find more form
If we start taking our chances we will be up there

Maybe it’s because I was there in the flesh so to speak, but I wonder did Sky ever treat our last two title wins like a wankfest as much as they do with these.

Tomorrow night at ten we have a Liverpool title winners special if City don’t beat Chelsea,so what if we do win, build it up to next Thursday, then what if City win again ? Just delay this special programme a bit further ?
Makes me fucking sick, just disappointing in how the league went this time around, and knowing deep down that we are the better team, and loads of scousers know it as well although won’t admit it

Smash them and call them the worse champions ever seen. They are at Leicester and Blackburn levels in the modern era where tv money rules. We take it off them next year.

The gap between us two and the rest of the top six is stark though. You’ve got the best two managers in world football right on top of their game, it’s a big ask for those below to get much closer. United & Chelsea will both be better next year but a lot rests on the experience of the managers. They’ve bought well of late which bodes well, however spending money isn’t enough at this level. The race for the top four will be a lot more intense next year whatever happens though.

Not really arsed how Sky treat it, as their bias has been obvious for a long time. I do actually feel a bit sorry for genuine, match-going Liverpool fans though (disclaimer: a couple of my best friends from university are scousers). Am sure they’ll all say this is as sweet as any title win, but deep down they know that’s simply not true. It’s nothing like the jubilation we felt in 2012, 2014 or 2019. The only comparable title is our romp in 2018, but even then it’s much more of an anticlimax. Still, a title is a title, as I’m sure they’ll argue.

Barring a miracle, the top four next year will be us, you, Chelsea and United. The four clubs with the biggest budgets will almost certainly prevail.

Yea that’s true,a title is a title, and I’m too old to be jealous or acting like a smacked arse, but one thing that can’t be taken away this season is some seriously dodgy VAR shouts,as well as a few other interesting situations involving both ourselves and them, but I will stand firm with my claim that this season is tainted and don’t forget the asterix......Christ I do sound like a smacked arse :)

Sometimes being miles in front takes the excitement out if it
But to be fair they waited a long time and do deserve it
Up to us now to raise our game next year
We’re every bit as good as them but just not clinical enough
