Premier League Games 23/24 Sept '23

What's going on with this handball rule?? It's just another way to manipulate games, like the letting games flow and more physical contact allowed one.

That ball was going out when Gordon handballed it, that’s surely an example where VAR should over rule the goal, it doesn’t matter if it was accidental it contributed to a goal. That was supposed to be a rule a few years ago but it’s so confusing now.

Arsenal fans celebrating Rodri's red card yesterday and less than 24 hours later dropping 2 points and losing Rice and Saka to nasty looking injuries has made my weekend
Liverpool the challengers this season, although been lucky so far. Spurs top four.

As said in the reffing thread in the main forum, the issue ultimately is that refs in this country are absolutely dire, and getting worse. They’re also burdened with pathetically conceived and explained rules around handball and penalties…..even the refs have no idea anymore what Webb wants from them.

To anyone with any sense it’s a clear handball albeit unintentional.
