I honestly have no idea about the rules of football anymore.

I think the problem is that the officials have no idea about the rules, not the fans.
It’s ball to hand but the fact that it keeps the ball in play and they score from it means it has to disallowed.
Just like running into the crowd celebrating is a yellow, so Saka should’ve been sent off for Arsenal.
The officiating is just a joke
