Premier League Games 23/24 Sept '23

Sheffield and Luton will surely be going straight back down, they are both awful. As for Newcastle, they have taken their chances and controlled the game. Will be tough for us on Wednesday, who knows what team Pep will put out.
Yes, they will struggle all season. Sheffield had two early chances, both falling to their left back, I think, which could have made all the difference. This is what is so important in matches at this level, because these chances are so few and far between and if you don’t take them when they come your way, you can bet your bottom dollar you’ll be made to pay for them as Sheffield are now.

There's a big difference in Premier League and Championship. Sheffield United and Luton struggled because the gap on quality of teams in the Premier League is staggering.

We have seen last season at least 2 big clubs going down who probably shouldn't have last season (Leicester and Leeds considering the quality off players they had).

If last seasons Leicester and Leeds played Sheffield United and Luton. Both would have won very easily. As they were stronger squads than both Sheffield United and Luton.

Newcastle are slowly getting back. It helps when you play rubbish teams after playing the best teams in the league.
