Can't see the Howe-Newcastle venture lasting much longer, no real signings, doesn't seem trusted and rumours of the England job not disappearing.
4 points from 2 games is a decent start. No European distractions/fatigue. Plenty of upside to their season potentially.

Statistically Arne Slot is currently the greatest ever PL manager. He's won all his games without conceding a single goal.
 
The fact we're even debating it shows it wasn't a clear and obvious error to allow the goal, and according to the guidelines VAR isn't supposed to override the on-field decision in matters of opinion, which this clearly is. Goal should've stood.
There's weird people debating whether the united goal yesterday that came off Zirkzee was correctly ruled out, because it was "going in anyway", so I don't feel like whether outsiders debating it is a good yardstick for clear and obvious.
 
Eddie Howe turns down the England job and then proceeds to get fired by Newcastle. That would be something
