They've dragged another for an interview
Compared to our recent starts I would suggest it has been very strong. When we kick in after Christmas it looks like we will blow all challenges away. You are right about our opposition but that’s the same for the others as well.
Dippers have more goals in them than the arse. Its still just us vs Arsenal for the title.
Everybody else is hoping to make top 4.
And supercup!Yes I'm delighted with nine points given our short rest, injuries, departures and trying to bed new players in.
Newcastle were utter garbage. I actually thought they would push on this season but they have a dearth of quality in that side. There was some really sloppy play in H2, and they were focusing on trying to keep the balk rather than finding another goal....like you say, with CL games they will be lucky to finish top 10 in PLNewcastle just aren't at the level many would suggest they are. Their lack of depth will cause them even more problems once champions league start.
I don't think you can credit the dippers too much despite the comeback with 10 men. It was simply newcastle throwing that away.
I don't fear liverpool at all, they've got plenty of problems, back 4 is a mess and thr midfield isn't balanced and isn't suited to the shit football klopp prefers. They aren't a shadow of the team we faced a few years back and don't believe they'll be our closest challengers unless a few others have an absolute mare.
Would have been nice to laugh at the dippers and this will certainly invigorate them but as long as we do our stuff we won't have to worry about their results.
Watching them against us the other week I thought they would finish mid-table at best.Newcastle were utter garbage. I actually thought they would push on this season but they have a dearth of quality in that side. Coutinho’s 800 million scouse war-chest has a lot to answer forThere’s not many teams that can bring an £80m striker off the bench to win a game.
Only Oily City can do that !!
Arnold should have walked, Ref and Var bottled it.Nah they earned that on this occasion.
