Some people do a really terrible job of masking how much they’re gutted that Palmer is doing well. They come on here and take the piss out of people who are anywhere between impressed with his game or pleased that a kid who spent 13 years at City and is a local Wythenshawe lad is doing well.

Palmer never showed the form he's showing now when he was by us. Plenty of players have been prolific elsewhere but not managed it for City, that's football. I'm happy he's doing well, but some of these mellow dramatic "WE LET THE NEW KDB SLIP THROUGH OUR FINGERS" posts are vomit inducing, week in, week out.

It’s the OTT superlatives and incredibly simplistic analysis that ignores anything negative about his game to try to support them that pushes someone in to the “fan girl” category, which is always rife in various threads in this forum.
