I see the benefit of VAR (Messi’s goal in extra time, linesman not flagging knowing VAR would rule out if required) but that game against Liverpool last week made me realise that football is so much more fluid and enjoyable without it.

Yes thats true , but there was nothing controversial in that game at all.
