True but we had a plan , we knew where we wanted to get to, and how to get there . Newcastle seem happy to just say they are rich, and well that's enough . Howe is not a good enough manager for a team in the top half of the league fact . And the Newcastle management don't seem to have any idea of what they want to achieve apart from being in the Prem league .

Just goes to show you can have all the riches in the world but if you have no idea what to do with it then it's useless . We had a plan right from the start and that plan has come to fruition .

There's a strong argument that they had a plan right from the start, and we muddled through and wasted a lot of money in the early years.

The difference is that our takeover was pre-FFP, so we had a few seasons where our owners could put hundreds of millions a year into the club, and get in just before the door swung closed behind us.

Newcastle's owners can have "all the riches in the World", but they are unable to spend the kind of money that they needed to solidify their place amongst the already rich.
