You see this is something that a lot of supporters don`t understand.The 30 seconds is a MINIMUM time added and if the ref sees time wasting during a sub then he`s quite at liberty to add on extra.
In my local they can`t get a grasp of this and its not a new ruling its been out for years.Mind you in the main they are Scousers and Rags.

Plenty of games when we have been winning by five or six and one minute goes up. Think when we were beating Burton by nine they actually blew dead on 90. It seems like when we have won comfortably very little injury time is added but when teams in red need a couple of extra the ref suddenly decides to add on a little more. The sooner timekeeping is done in a similar way to rugby the better. You can take as long as you want over a sub, it won’t matter. And of course when Ederson pisses about in the 95th minute he gets booked despite the opposition keeper doing exactly the same for the previous 94. Odd that
