Just seen Brighton incident. Disgrace. Seen some media guff about Brighton players abusing ref.
why did he blow?
He can’t say that he was blowing to stop them playing a quick fk because he blow to let them take it in the first place.
He should be sacked on the spot and never ref again

Just saw it too. Mason made a complete fuck up of a simple situation. He should have been aware of the goalie on the post lining up the wall.
you cant let them take a free kick then.

It's the usual Lee Mason afternoon - this time at the Hawthorns Hippodrome. The fellah's the complete incompetent. Absolutely fuckin' clueless. I suspect we will never know, from Mason, or Old Mothr Riley why, when blowing for the kick, he blows again BEFORE THE BALL CROSSES THE LINE (so he seems to suggest, hahahahahahaha - shades of Clive Thomas!) why he's given the goal, not given it and, er, not given it again! Never has one ref fucked over so many people, so many times. Mind, Anthony Taylor runs him close.

I guess it’s there to stop the taker dribbling the ball from the spot. It could be easily reworded to allow a second touch following the ball hitting the frame of the goal.

Just because there was so much pressure from the bench. Why doesn't he come and speak to the press like me? Never, they hide behind their bubble.

"I don't think he knew what he was doing. He gave the goal, why did he give it? I don't know why VAR was getting involved, he said 'goal'... you can look on the video if you want.

Aye, they talked about how it's because he blew the whistle again just before the ball crossed the line, but never gave an explanation as to why the fat fuck is allowed to just blow the whistle again in the first place.

Big fine and possible ban incoming - for telling the truth. Players and Managers are not allowed to tell the truth as it relates to match officials. Apparently it brings the game into disrepute more than incompetent officiating does !
