This is the Premier League match thread. A player for a Premier League team in a Premier League match has just scored four goals in one half.

Nobody has ever scored four goals in a half in a Premier League game.

He also had a goal disallowed and he hit the post. This is a fantastic Premier League performance.

No team has scored 3 goals in the first minute of 3 consecutive matches. But let's turn the PL thread into fangirling Palmer when there's a thread dedicated to it.

We have indeed and he looks a decent prospect. But all of de Bruyne, Gündoğan and Bernardo aren’t long for us anymore.

We didn’t spend big this summer because we are going to smash a load of cash on either Wirtz or Musiala or someone like them next summer. Yet nobody we sign will be as good as Cole Palmer.

Pissed off with everyone about the Palmer situation. Both City and Palmer wanted Palmer at City long term, but both City and him are knobs for how it’s turned out.

Good for Palmer. He isn’t a Pep player, because he’s too undisciplined. The end.

Doesn't hug the line, doesn't make the pitch wider, doesn't slow and control the game, always takes defenders on, shoots (and scores somehow) whenever possible. We were lucky we managed to get very good money for totally useless anti-Pep player.
