Premier League Games 28/29/30 Sept 2024

Shite weekend of football for us. I know the dippers are top but it's definitely advantage to arsenal for me. They've played the champions away, spurs away and villa away already and navigated a home game against Brighton with 10 men. Had they lost to spurs withput rice and odegaard and had we beaten them with a man advantage they could havr been 8 points adrift of us so to come out of that run and be level with us and just a point behind the dippers who have played 1 significant big game a piece so far is a very tidy position to be in.
We've played 2.

Chelsea away when they were shit was a bonus for us, they now look like they can trouble anyone

Advantage Arsenal?
is this the same Arsenal who are on the same points as City with an inferior goal difference?
Who needed the ref to call walker out of position to get a draw with us?
We’re 6 games into a new season and you’re giving them the advantage when there is still 32 games to go?
Oh dear…
True,

The last 3 goals scored against us could all have been ruled out.

If we had scored them ( I include the awarding of todays pen) i'm sure they would have been looked at with greater scrutiny.

Think City's start was far harder and better than the rest, once City are in the running for the last 10 games they will do it. They are in the dippers and tarquins heads and it kills them.

It's like you didn't read my post and don't understand the concept of an advantage. As I've literally just said, They're on the same points having played us away, spurs away and villa away, that's 3 of the 4 hardest games they'll have all season done already, we've played none of our four hardest games.

The number of games into the season and how many games remain is entirely irrelevant, what i said is they're currently in the best position, thats subject to change everytime theres a game, why you're acting like I've just declared them champions, I've genuinely no idea. What a thoroughly bizarre response.

Both teams will expect to win all their home games regardless so ive ignored them and concentrated on away games. Arsenals away fixtures so far are last seasons champions, 4th and 5th placed teams, our away fixtures have been against last seasons 6th,7th and 9th placed sides. They've objectively had a tougher set of games so far.

But it does feel like it even though it’s so early in the season. L’pool have also started off well under their new manager (hate to say it, though). It does seem like those two teams have a bit of momentum already. I know I should take a step back and tell myself to wait until we start to gel and yes, last season we were without KDB and Haaland, both for many months but to miss Rodri, dare I say it, means so much more.

I said as much last week that we got them out of the way early doors. I told my hub to use one of his free Slybets on them for top 4 last July. They are bubbling along nicely and hopefully will give the Arse and Dippers a lot of trouble.

They also have the ability - which we don't apart from JONNY Boy last week, to get goals in extra extra time which give them points advantage. Both are quicker and look more of a goal threat too.

And as for set pieces, Dippers scored from a corner today.

It's hard watching us ATM, apart from 10 minutes last week early v Arse before Partey damaged Rodri. We need some speed. And to shore up our defence.
