It was appalling, on a par with the blatant offside that wasn't given for Liverpool's goal at West Ham last season and again when they nearly won it at the death.

And that is what annoys me when people say he should be demoted a couple of divisions. Why should Tranmere suffer that idiot ? if he cannot get simple decisions right he should not be running the line.

He failed to see a man of over 6feet wearing a bright red shirt about 3yards away from him waving his arm in the air.
It’s just like seeing the elephant in the room, eh Dermot!

So the linesman "lost focus" and "failed to see" did he? The linesman was focused enough to be in the correct position, level with the last defender. The linesman did not "fail to see" the man 6 feet tall wearing a bright red shirt stood 3 yards away. Maybe the linesman suddenly forgot the man in red was stood there? Or maybe the linesman suddenly decided to CHEAT? Dermot Gallaghers excuse has more holes in it than a sieve and he is a condescending prick if he expects us to believe him.

Is it just me or is there a correlation between the number of points utd drop and the amount of coverage of ex-rags reminiscing on Sky. This morning it's all Roy Keane talking about his rivalry with Viera featuring hours of vintage footage of utd when they were winning stuff.

Murdoch's repulsive empire makes millions from the gormless masses so have to keep spoon-feeding them with success from years gone by. Simply gotta protect their cash-cow.

That was one of the most bent decisions I’ve seen for some time. He couldn’t get his flag up quick enough. I’m still not a great fan of VAR, but at least it stops blatant cheating like that. A year ago United would have unjustly won the game as a result of that decision.

Weren't these the squiggly lines that BT used on one of our games a couple of years back in the cup? :-)
