The motion he made with his arm looks like it’s stopped the ball from going in. He’s made it look super deliberate with the motion.

The angle from the corner does make it look much worse to be fair. It looks like he scoops it away.

Has to be a pen as it stopped it going in, but never a red as it wasn't intentional. All happened because Alonso and Mendy didn't talk to eachother haha.

Because it deflected off his leg I think the penalty was for deliberate handball stopping a goal

Exactly. Arm is in an unnatural position and moves toward the ball when it comes off his knee. If it doesn’t hit his knee first I’d agree with the red.
