Premier League Games 28/29 Feb/1st March

It was as offside as the Newcastle ‘equaliser’ in 2014. I certainly wasn’t complaining when that one was given..

The difference being that at Newcastle the ball was hit directly at Chiote(sp) where as at Goodison the shot was going away from the guy and he only came into play when the ball was deflected by Slabhead

It wasn't offside under any scenario

It's not quite offside in any scenario. It's only deemed offside when certain teams concede. In the black and white of the LotG, and bearing in mind how these Whistling Wankers have interpreted the offside law in previous games to allow a goal, VAR should have given that goal. If De Gea was unsighted why did he make an initial move to the right? Because he saw that the fuckin' ball was going that way in the first place, and wouldn't have got anywhere near the save once it hit Frankensteins heel! EFC were screwed as other teams have been screwed. But in the way the PL and VAR have operated the shambles this season some teams have been screwed more than others.

Surely there’s one question they need to ask, would it have still been a goal if the player in the offside position wasn’t there ?
The answer is yes

Once that’s resolved what justification do they have for saying it’s no goal

I think the linesman May have quite easily thought Sigurson was interfering and seeing the legs being pulled out of the way thought it may well have sold De-Gea the dummy, but once VAR see he was already going the wrong way from deflection and not going to save it it shouldn’t matter
