Premier League Games | 29/30 November '25

I'm late to comment as I was busy this late pm. Overall not a bad result for us. Chavs did well, I just wish someone would beat Arse. I didn't see end of game, did they do a PL celebration?

Same thing happened at the Etihad a few seasons back when you came up against a wounded city yet played it safe and dropped two points that would have won you the title.

Chelsea on the other hand were brilliant. Down to 10 men yet still went for it even it was a bit naive. For the good of football hopefully Artetas cowardly approach doesn’t bring him the title.

Absolutely, this match reeks of Artetas cowardice - the primary reason Arsenal bottle it season after season. We are 5 points behind them, if we are 5/6 points behind them at the end of the season (say 5 or 6 games to go) they will crack like a Chucky egg!
If they are already whinging that a player like Trossard is unavailable, then they are already beaten.
BTW Gyokeres is a championship player at best ..

James is a fine player but misses too many games.
Sideshow Bob can be very good but also awful. I think that he would have done well for us if he had signed for us instead of Chelsea but I am happy with O'Reilly.
I think Chelsea have a lot of young, fit players and that allowed them to do weel when down to ten. I think they lack quality up front to win the title.

Champions do win those games but also when it's against a direct rival (and a derby too) you make sure you don't lose it.

Also no 1st choice centre backs, Trossard injured, Gyokeres comes back from injury but plays 20 mins, coming off the back of a North London derby and also Bayern Munich. If there was the game for Chelsea to win it then it was today and Caicedo's brain fart made that difficult. So I'd say it is a better result for us than Chelsea as if Chelsea wanted to be champions they had to win that but yet against their disciplinary issue hindered them (and they will now lose Caicedo for 3 matches - away at Leeds, away at Bournemouth, home to Everton).

I'd also add that now we have played all the big boys away apart from City, have also played 1 less home game (and 1 more away game) than both City and Chelsea.

Still a long way to go but seeing as that was 1st v 2nd it's like you saying if City are top they need to be going to Anfield (when Dippers were 2nd) and winning. How often did that happen yet you still won the league regardless.

Ahh the bridgeno1 wobble. Not seen one for a while. Well, since the last time you dropped points. Lovely to have you back.

A team confident and authoritative doesn’t look a 10 man gifthorse in the mouth and fanny about scrabbling around for a point. They go and win that game and put Chelsea’s ambitions to bed.

There’s been a lot of talk in the media about how Arsenal have already got this title won. Well, I’ll tell you this - City have been absolutely dogshit for most of the season yet are only 5 points behind you. On that basis alone, you aren’t that great. City teams of recent seasons would’ve had this Arsenal side for breakfast.

He was meant to come in and challenge for the golden boot. Now arsenal supporters have realised his limitations they have tried to convince themselves that he has been a brilliant signing because he occupies the opposition centre halves.

The fact is that they have a Spanish defensive midfielder they play upfront who is more effective than him.
