VAR; “hi, referee, we’ve looked at it 72 times and it’s clearly not a penalty but we want you to take all the blame if everyone moans about it so go and waste everyone’s time and have a look on the screen on the touch line. Take your time getting there though, none of the viewers are bored to tears or anything”.

FUCKING RUBBISH! Just make the decision yourself VAR, what a waste of time!
 
Would have to say he got the ball from The direction the ball left which didn't look like it had any spin on it, good call from the ref and good use of the monitor

It's about VAR not wanting to override the official. I don't know why. They got the correct verdict in the end.

At least it was right in the end. Just took six and a half hours to get there. VAR just needs to make that decision and save everyone walking to B&Q to buy some rope because of the mind numbingly boring wait to finally get a decision from them.
