It is the selective way VAR is applied in games that grates on People.
It comes across almost as if it is cheating.
The Poster saying "would you be happy Offside Goals being allowed to stand is totally missing the point".
Again i will go back to the Rags v Candle waivers game as my example.The winning Goal was clearly offside using the criteria applied today to cancel out that Brighton screamer.
One didn't need CGI lines to see the attacker was clearly ahead of the defender in the Rags game.It was visually obvious.
After the game it was said VAR was going to bring some common sense in to the VAR Booth.
If there was no clear daylihgt between a defender and an attacker then the Attacker gets the benefit.
The goal was allowed to stand that night, we didn't see any 4 minutes deliberation and CGI Lines which would have 100% proved he was offside.
Today we are back to 4 minutes forensically analyzing a cracking Goal.They couldn't even draw lines through the players.
