Premier League Games 3/4 Sept '22

Bernardo against this left back and Haaland against the back line, we’ll destroy them, most confident going into a derby than in years
They are better than they were ....

Stopping that counter is the important bit and that aint easy ....all it needs is one time for rodri not to make an interception or walker to get stuck in no mans land or a misplaced pass into midfield by walker or cancello and it leads to very good chances which you cannot afford to give them

The game next week against spurs will be very similar....lets see if Pep has learnt from previous with what we all know will happen if he plays his inverted fullbacks against Son and Kane and Richarlison (who is shit and never done anything against us playing for Everton) or the other bloke whose name escapes me..but with half a pitch to run into.....

Can't disagree with any of that but I still hate VAR with a passion. At the very least any decision should take no more than 30 seconds. After that, the pitch officials decision should stand . Also, a captain's nomination referral system is needed, much like the system used at cricket. Two challeges per half, maybe.

Also, it's horrible watching your team score what looks like a perfectly legit goal and being restricted to a half-hearted celebration of a goal that look totally valid because at the back of your mind you're waiting for some kill-joy VAR twat to get their ruler out and find a way to chalk it off, even if it takes him 10 minutes to get there. It's stupid and I'm sick of it all. Get rid.

I have also been at matches in the past when a goal has been scored, I immediately look at the linesman offside.
The people around me go wild for a minute, before realising it is offside.
They may have enjoyed the celebrations but it is still offside and not a goal.

The issue remains with the referees. Until major changes occur with or without var we are the worst in Europe.

Both looked better than us yesterday. We need to sharpen up and stop throwing away points away from home. This is gonna be a tight title race this year!
I don't think utd did, thought they road their luck at times. They are more direct than we are but we would not have given them the time arsenal did. Suspect we would have been caught on the break in a similar fashion though. Defensively both were poor. We have a better midfield than them both and Haaland is better up front than anything either of them have to offer. Arsenal were a better team than utd but didn't put away their chances.

Ain’t Sky fooking sickening with the creeping ?????
Fook me Arsenal helped the twats out big time but all that will be forgotten in the next few hours

Yep, where they have to force the play.
They'll just sit behind the ball if they go one up and play on the break - after spending £850M on a team.
Rashford getting his confidence back is key for them...great pace and tbf v.good finish
