Following the Spurs match, I wrote that finding themselves again is a process. Depending on them as well as on questions asked by opponents they face. Both Spurs and WH made it easy for them, too easy may I say. Fact...

They're not to be taken lightly, no team is. But this Liverpool doesn't scare me. I'm much much more concerned of the systematic problems we're facing since day one this season. Key players unavailable, energy levels for the rest etc. Otherwise I would say that City have nothing to fear playing against them. Actually it's the other way around...

PS. By the way, conditions were much more favorable for them when we met early at the Etihad. Klopp knew it which is why he tried to finish us off from the beginning of the season. He failed. Actually they're the ones that escaped with a draw, we should have won that match, Kevin scores that penalty, with City coming from behind it would have probably been over. Honest review of the WestHam game.

We have to do our business the whole season and be the team with the least mistakes. Liverpool hate to say it butof all the other teams they are a few levels above IF they get their tactics right.

Today it wasn’t a matter of West Ham being technically poor, but the control of the ball and the space by liverpool made West Ham unable to play their ball to feet approach. How many times were West Ham chasing the ball, and Antonio isolated. They gave up after the first goal because of how exposed they became. Before the goal west ham was actually playing decent. They just got too confident and Committing that many players in the box for that corner which led to the counterattack goal was also a mistake. After that they gave liverpool too much respect.

I believe we are overall better than liverpool, but their fast and direct 1-2s after dragging players out of position, and their perennial diving will be their intended strategy against us.

This is one game where the missing KdB would have been our key choice, and one game where I would rather keep Fernandinho on the bench.

All things been equal we could go either 7 points clear of them or 1 point ahead after next week, write these bastards off at your peril, teams just fold against them, keep Salah on his right first goal doesn’t go in, play it down the middle at their two weak centre halves and test them, West Ham went down the wings absolute gash.

Spot on that's why once our form picked up I was desperate to get a points cushion.

Admittedly i have not seen much of West Ham this Season.

Off that showing though, i would say Leeds are a much better side. Even Sheff united show more fight than that.

That was as spineless a bottle job as i have ever seen.

Barring any Covid outbreaks or major injuries.

54 points to play for, avoid defeat against the rags, dippers, Leicester and Spurs and don't drop points against teams we should beat it's ours.
