Doesn’t matter even slightly if he wins the ball or not, it’s reckless and that’s why he’s been sent off

I'm not arguing that he shouldn't have been sent off. Just that I feel a bit sorry for players when they genuinely play the ball, get it and it's their momentum that causes the injury. It was a ball he probably had to go for and a red card results. Ironically if he was a fraction of a second later, he probably would have missed the ball, clipped the player and got a yellow.
