Premier League Games 5/6/7 August '22 (new season)

I got through 4 games so far and I have to admit there's a great improvement in referees not being hoodwinked by players falling over. Let's hope they keep this up as even shit games are more watchable if only to see the faces of players play acting on the floor, only then to realise play has moved on.

Of course that wasnt what I meant, but if Brighton can spot a Cucu, Leicester quite a few, why can’t we?
Because we don't need to take risks with players who may turn out to be garbage. Brighton bought an uncut diamond and fair play to them, it turned out a savvy purchase. However, for every one of those that turn out to be a success, there's fucking shitloads that don't. We might as well ask the question: why can't we buy a back 4 for 60 million?

Having said all that, we've just bought Alvarez for a fucking snip, so we do make those signings when we feel we can't lose.

Matches being disrupted by medical emergencies are actually just down to awareness in dealing with them now. There hasn’t been an actual rise in cardiac arrests but clubs are more sensitive of it. Years ago I was at a Rugby League game when someone collapsed but the game simply went on and the medics/stewards would have to work around it.

Protocol has simply changed.
Can we put this everywhere on the site?
