This is what annoys the fuck out of me. Chelsea, Liverpool and even United this weekend have all punished weaker teams. They've gone for the kill and punished all mistakes. We on the other hand potentially have the best front 4 in the league and are so wasteful it's unreal. Yes we are playing pretty football but you don't get extra points for pissing around with the ball on the edge of the opponents box. Also it's irritating that teams treat us like it's a cup final then lie down for our contenders. NO WAY will Watford play like this against us. Just like Swansea didn't v the rags today or Everton yesterday.

I get it, we obviously get excited when we sign a talent but potential takes time and in most cases years to bear the fruits of it.

If only we could sign 11 world class players like Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and the Rags and play at 100% every week like them then yeah?

Form is the only stat I'm interested in at the moment, if we don't change it, we're fucked.

but form is variable for all teams......its over the whole season that matters...not just 5 games etc.......people were saying (wrongly) that we were going to walk the league after the first five games...look at how that turned out!!!

Yes we are struggling with killing teams off but we are playing some great football and that is an encouraging thing.

Pep isn't finished assembling his team...that won't happen till next year...everyone knows he wants another centre half and two fullbacks which will massively help us...anytime you see us starting kolorov as a centre half you know its spelling out that we are in dire need of other players.....the reason to play him there yesterday because ottomendi needed a rest but we cannot rotate at present and get the same quality......we are in a transition yet still in the mix

A kid of 20 is not going on fire us to the PL, I bet you thought we had signed the next best player in the world when we signed Balotelli as well.

So let me get this right, Jesus isn't going to fire us to the title next year (the yearvyou we're talking about regarding summer signings). That's some power of divination you have.

And FWIW, Balotelli was instrumental in our first PL win. His goals at old Trafford alone not only won us 3 points (six point swing) but added two goals (4 goals swing). Then there's the last minute winner vs Spurs etc.

We aren't easily beaten, that's the difference here.... I'd say where we are is about right, considering the new ideas and there implementation.. I'd be more concerned if we were as abject as last year, however, that just isn't the case.... we've dropped 6 pts in the last 3 home games, in reality only one of those performance saw a drop off in standards......

We're in a great position,'exactly in the mix......

I'd agree if we started inconsistent and gradually got better, but it's the reverse.

I'm curious , what makes you think liverpool aren't a serious threat? nothing so far suggests they won't be there for the long haul.

Chelsea can defend better than Liverpool, Liverpool are in a fantastic vein of form but they are still capable of mistakes at the back like City but hopefully as I said City will get better.

Chelsea are a good side, just downed tools last year have won it before know how to win it.

i thought GJ arrived in december...guessing he won't be ready to play till January though??????
