I get it, we obviously get excited when we sign a talent but potential takes time and in most cases years to bear the fruits of it.

We had 25 shots yesterday. The problem isn't not shooting. It's not shooting well enough. Silva doesn't score from 5 yards. Aguero from 12 with all the time in the world and KDB misses an open net from 18 yards.

I just feel they pull the trigger too late on many occasions, having allowed the defenders to close in. They make space but the first thought seems to be look for the pass, if it isn't on they blast it into a defender or miss the defender sending the ball wide. It might be a shot but no chance of scoring.Shoot on sight meaning first glimpse, hit it. If they do it may increase the goals per shots ratio,which is generally very poor.They should certainly get more on target.
I can't account for any of them missing sitters. David seems to be OK scoring for Spain but is a wreck in front of goal for City.

And FWIW, Balotelli was instrumental in our first PL win. His goals at old Trafford alone not only won us 3 points (six point swing) but added two goals (4 goals swing). Then there's the last minute winner vs Spurs etc.
