The twats just do what they want, Rodri gets sent off and banned for 3 matches including 2 league games that we lost and could cost us the league because he put his hands around someone's throat, yet I've seen multiple guys do it since and get nothing including Van Dick against Sheffield, and now apparently punching someone isn't violent conduct, fuck off you useless bastards.

@jimharri Has our resident refereeing and VAR expert that insisted “it was a stonewall penalty and VAR couldn’t do anything about it because of this secret rule that no one knows about that says if there is any contact on the player VAR can’t intervene” left us?

Because that is exactly what they do.I'm not sure there are actual rules in football anymore. Seems the refs just wing it.
Arbitrary enforcement of the rules has been the norm and VAR has only slightly improved that situation (when the incident is too obvious to allow for it).
