Palmer is our one that got away.. he’s one of the top players on the planet. And anyone arguing against that is either delusional, bitter or both.

I still find it unbelievable how we got slappped by Spurs

I find it equally unbelievable that we won at Chelsea, good job it was first game of season, as they’d do us as well now

He didn’t get away. He wanted what he’s got - first team football.

I’ve been dubious of saying it until now, but he would be absolutely thriving with this form in our team. We’ll simply never know if he would have got the opportunity. All you can say is fair fucks to him for believing in himself to the point he did what he did.

I’ve always justified it by saying that Pep didn’t want two academy products in the first team as projects, and I have zero blame on him for choosing Phil as he was obviously more advanced at the time. However, Cole has progressed whilst Phil hasn’t moved on like he should. I know Phil had a great season last season but he needs to sort his head out quick style and get back to his best. We need him.

Football is a funny game. Regardless of his rag roots. Said he didn’t want to leave. Pep would have to admit the club as a whole made a mistake.

Palmer is much much better than Pogba. Another level. I am gutted we let him go. And Lavia would walk into our team. The bosses at City must feel like the man who turned down the Beatles because "no one wants guitar bands."

I'm sure we couldn't keep lavia fit that's why sell on clause with Southampton

We need to upgrade the athletic side of our game ie Walker and another DM and we also need to find a new creative player to replace Kev.

We need peace and power to dominate midfield which will allow us to camp out again and take teams apart.

Finding the right players is the hardest part.

Bruno G is perfect for us. I hope we pay what Newcastle want, stat wise he’s one of the best ball winning midfielders in the prem. he’s also covers the most ground

Haha.. I’ve not put it on here before, have read the multitude of comments.. but fuck it. No point on living in denial.. he’s been doing it for the best part of 18 months now, totally running things for Chelsea.. reminds me of Kev at Wolfsburg. Just a complete clutch player and difference maker who is racking up numbers. No point it denying or debating it anymore. Clear as day he’s absolutely elite and getting better.

Now wins a pen… Jesus we could have done with him. He’s the best player in the league at the moment.

I wish referees would start penalising players for fouls at corners and other attacking restarts. Don't warn them before the ball is in play, just penalis the foul, whether it's a penalty for holding, or a free kick for blocking.
