I don’t really see it in McAtee, he’s already 22 and I’ve never been that impressed with him. I thought he looked at his level at SheffUtd in the Championship. Really good for our Academy that we’ve produced another player at that level, but you can see he’s not going to be top class.

With Palmer, even though he had a bad few months after that long injury he had, you could see he was going to be a top player. There was always something about him, reminds me of Berbatov.

O’Reilly and Wright are just young lads yet, no idea what they’re going to be from what we’ve seen so far. But not McAtee.

The club obviously saw something in him. They turned down 30M for him, that why’s it’s bizarre.
