They have Villa and Wolves

Gerrard will roll over for his boyhood team - He will have them running through brick walls against us if there is still something to play for on the last day of the season

And wolves on the last day (for the scousers)....they have nothing to play for and will be on the beach

We have West Ham away who could get Europa League -so still have something to play for

Liverpool can only get 9 more points max.
As long as City get 3 wins and 1 draw from the remaining 4 games, that will give us 10 more points.
So goal difference wouldn't come into it in those circumstances.
