Bet you wouldn't have said "inadvertently" if it was against us. ;-)Herrera did slip, but it’s the movement he made that caused the slip that was really always going to lead to him losing control of the challenge (the lean back and little two footed hop), with or without the slip.
As far as the Smalling-Chambers incident, Chambers took a step toward the ball, fully in control, whilst Smalling dove in, studs up, and lost control of the challenge. He just happened to get to the ball before Chambers, who then inadvertently stepped on the out-of-control sliding Rag. Could have gone very differently for Chambers.
I would have, to be honest.Bet you wouldn't have said "inadvertently" if it was against us. ;-)
What I find most telling is the narrative set by Neville. That defending for the Martial ‘wonder goal’ was criminal.
If that were last week, and Mustafi moves his leg out of the way of Sterling and he runs through unopposed and finishes nicely. Neville would be all over the defender.

Alot of blues get sucked in and think he's a top pundit but it's a mask which slips occasionally. He is and will always be a Rag bellend.
