Premier League Games 9/10/11 Febuary

Fulham have been penalised twice just since I started watch 10 minutes ago for dangerous lunges by United players (Herrera-Ream, Smalling-Chambers)... both really should have gone the other way.
Herrera slipped, should have been a Fulham free kick though. Thought both Smalling and Chambers were guilty of lunging in.

I've downloaded the prem years 11/12 and watching sergio bang them in on his debut, that hook back with his foot to dave so he can score is amazing, they all look so young

What I find most telling is the narrative set by Neville. That defending for the Martial ‘wonder goal’ was criminal.
If that were last week, and Mustafi moves his leg out of the way of Sterling and he runs through unopposed and finishes nicely. Neville would be all over the defender.

Herrera did slip, but it’s the movement he made that caused the slip that was really always going to lead to him losing control of the challenge (the lean back and little two footed hop), with or without the slip.

As far as the Smalling-Chambers incident, Chambers took a step toward the ball, fully in control, whilst Smalling dove in, studs up, and lost control of the challenge. He just happened to get to the ball before Chambers, who then inadvertently stepped on the out-of-control sliding Rag. Could have gone very differently for Chambers.
