Demotion is all well and good but why inflict them on another game....oh it's the Championship so it doesn't matter.

It’s always the solution, as well. It all seems choreographed: select the linesmen, instruct them on how key decisions should be handled, punish them after the fact as a means to distract from the consistently “poor” decisions favouring certain teams (regardless of the officiating team), give cover as “corrective” action, and remove the corrupt participants from scrutiny. Repeat, with creative flourish.

I really wish there were more strict financial disclosure and monitoring requirements for Championship and Premier League officials, but I am fairly why there aren’t.
