Premier League Games Played Overseas Back On The Agenda?

International week no real news so they churn this one up again to sell papers
dont be shock if theres a bull shit story about city this week
Unfortunately that doesn't mean they're not plotting behind closed doors to make it a done deal. No one on here is expecting the powers that be to consult with the fans I hope?

I think there's a real danger it'll happen.

The Premier League is a business and will go where it can make most money in this globalised world, just like many other businesses have done already.

The players won't object to another massive pay rise, and many of them have no real connection with England anyway and will play wherever the money is.

If it does happen then I'll support a club in a league where all matches are played in England - probably a Championship club.

I'm not interested in being a TV supporter of a club with Manchester in its name which globetrots to play league games all over world.

Fuck right off.

I bet clubs wouldn't lower the cost of season tickets to reflect the fact that every other year you're getting less for your money either.

they could start a new cup that would be played 2 week before prem starts
top 16 teams in the prem enter
4 groups of 4
top 2 progress
QTRs SEMIs and final
scrap the community shield

Football is losing me. Every year there's more and more I dislike about the sport. To think back how I used to love it as a kid and a young adult, and to see how I feel about it now, it's just losing me.

Clubs do not give a single fuck about their fans. Without us they'd be nothing, but they're treating us like mugs.

Ticket prices keep increasing, across the board. I've got other interests in life that I'm doing less and less of, and I just feel like football is not for me anymore. I feel like I'm not the type of fan football clubs want going through the turnstiles. They just want sad bastards who have nothing else in their lives, chumps who'll pay for anything and most of all the middle class.

Champions League games at the Etihad have been a fucking joke. It's full of twats! Twats who aren't there supporting City, they're just there to go to a CL game. City keep moving proper fans out to fill their seats with corporate arseholes and even with fans of the opposing team. Also these away games where we're being charged 60 fucking quid (City are doing this too; we charged West Brom fans £54 for a Monday night game that was on Sky last season!) are just disgraceful.

It's all just becoming a joke.

This is even before all this shite with taking games away to some razzmatazz arsehole of a country where the clubs would just earn a shed load of money and they don't care who they piss off doing it.

No matter what any of us say...IT WILL FUCKING HAPPEN!

I've wanted a Premier League wide mass boycott on a given weekend; no fans to turn up to any game anywhere in the country on a given weekend. My plan for this was to protest against ticket prices. But fuck me, there's even more fuel to get this going with this shit!

The day the 39th game actually happens is the day I jack my season card in.
I can understand American Football doing such a thing to export and increase the exposure of the game.
Football / soccer is already a truly global game. It is nothing but yet another money making ruse by the greedy bastards
who run football in this country.

I think it might signify the end of football for me if it came in. Just cannot see how fair it would be too any of the teams involved.
