Premier League (midweek) Games 25/26/27 April '23

Newcastle benching Isak is an odd one, he's firing right now and whilst Wilson is very decent, isak is a level above and should be playing.

Anyone else catch that from Owen Hargreaves talking about Spurs; “they’ve been trying to compete with the really big teams - United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool”.
Wanker.
Owen Hargreaves is one of the most complimentary pundits towards us and is generally very good. Absolutely not the one to start digging out.

Can't see anything other than a win being enough tonight. We need Newcastle to underperform for that to happen and that's our only hope tonight. Can see there being problems on and off the pitch tonight and our season could be all over by end of play. Can't score for toffee pardon the pun and can't defend either.
Newcastle might be in after the Lord nayors show mode with a bit of luck

As a genuine question on Bt between Jake the snake and the rest of the idiots on that show

"Do United win the league if they go and get Harry Kane?"

Fuck me these know nothing nowts know nothing. Kane is a very good player - but unless he can play centre midfield, and centre forward, be a goalkeeper who uses his feet and be 4 substitutes for when they have injuries then NO they can't fucking win the league by just buying him.

I don’t usually have a Bt subs but have a break from work so signed up for a month. Why is Rio Camel mouth their apparent football expert? I’ve never ever thought about fitba and thought Rio would enlighten me.

Well City are on a different level to all of them, so perhaps he was acknowledging that Spurs or any of those other teams are worthy of being classed as being capable of competing with City.
