Spurs can play on the counter-attack but that's it. Ask them to force a game and they can't do it.

Spurs lost the initiative when they got injured players in the 1st half. Liverpool played well but when it was full strength early on Sours were getting through repeatedly. Liverpool's defence is going to be a problem for them all season.

Ndombele looks a very good player.

Not surprised really. Look at how poor their defence looked 2nd walk when they didn't defend deeply.

Liverpool will still be our nearest challengers. If they beat West Ham at the weekend, our game against them will be similar to the one a couple of years ago when we had to beat them to reduce the gap to four points. That is if we beat Burnley and Sheff Utd.
