Premier League (midweek) Games 28/29/30 December

i dont understand why they havent invested more. in 19/20 they finished in 5th, above city, in terms of annual turnover.

their brand is surely very marketable around the world, perhaps even as much as United.

they complain about not having the spending power of city/united/chelsea and I don't understand why they arent also at that level
They are, FSG are pocketing the $$$

I think a lot of it is Klopp’s style of play, rock and roll football as it used to be called. You press from the front against good teams and you squeeze play with your defensive line against the lesser teams. With either system you need quality in all positions except midfield hence you only invest in your forward and back line. It is effective but it doesn’t lend itself well to rotation or competing on 4 fronts.

Have you noticed how when Klopp loses you can’t see his teeth in his post match interview whether when he wins that is all you can see.

FSG know as long as Klopp keeps on talking about City's money and City's squad, the Norwegian Cult won't tun on the *American Billionaire Soccer Franchise* owners. Klopp is FSG's get out of jail card.

I know this place hates Emma Hayes but her analysis of a game as a manager, and her ability to put that into a couple of sentences is a concise answer is absolutely streets ahead of the usual pundits.

Do they. I think she's brilliant.

Near seen anyone slag her off.

Hate is such a strong word.
