I see strong reactions to that what I have written. And this reaction to which I am replying is the most decent and least strong so I am replying to this one.

I would first like to say that I don't know ANYTHING about any news surrounding that. And secondly I would like to let people know that I have indeed been rather carefully observing Liverpool owners in the transfer market and have arrived at a very firm conclusion that they are extremely shrewd. Which led me to take a look into the whole moneyball thing more carefully. And that has led me to ultimately confirm my conclusion about their extreme sports shrewdness and expertise. I keep, for example, getting particularly impressed with their false leads in the transfer market. Their steps are almost impossible to trace. Super shrewd and budget conscious. And they also take great, great steps to cover their actions, intentions and calculations (especially as it pertains to future).

But I honestly have no idea about any of this sort of stuff. Knowing them, however, I would not be surprised if they did that to secure that their tracks are fully well covered. They are such, I think. Shrewd and extremely cognizant to how they are perceived.

Here is a clear example about what I mean. This was reviewed by VAR and determined to be nothing. Yet this was a clear and obvious and reckless violence by van Dijk. He was obviously and clearly targeting Gordon who actually played well and scored one or two goals. Which is why van Dijk targeted him. Refereeing standards in the game were very, very strange and weird. Watching it live and in-game this act of what must be labeled as violence actually appeared much worse because it was very obvious that van Dijk was targeting Gordon the way he was approaching him.
