Lack of consistency, so many times when the liner flags the ref blows, this time he doesn’t, it’s so bad VAR, it’s alienating so many fans. I don’t think we’ve had one decision in our favour. That was strange....play to the whistle it seems

Oh wow. Linesman rules it offside. Shelvey carries on. Keeper doesn’t really attempt to save it (points to the flag). VAR give it. Wowwww.
Wtf happened there? Can you imagine the same thing happening against Liverpool?Oh wow. Linesman rules it offside. Shelvey carries on. Keeper doesn’t really attempt to save it (points to the flag). VAR give it. Wowwww.
Nah, that got changed when they realised it was easier to screw us by flagging so the ref can blow his whistle.thought the linos had been told not to flag until play had stopped
Ref would have blown so the player couldn’t carry on.Wtf happened there? Can you imagine the same thing happening against Liverpool?
There has to be consistency though, not one ref blowing and another letting it develop, it’s just open to abuse.Play to the whistle. The Blades defenders stopped when they saw the flag. Now, you can argue that the linesman shouldn't have raised his flag, let the move go and let VAR decide. But he did, and the ref didn't blow. Rightly, in this case.

Think that's just the CL, it should be the same in the PL.thought the linos had been told not to flag until play had stopped
