Had a feeling this would happen to Villa. Same thing happened to us under Sven. First half of the season is a breeze cos nobody's figured you out, then the legs start to get a bit tired, and everyone plays you a second time knowing exactly what you're gonna do. Suddenly the results you've been getting aren't coming as thick and fast. They'll finish about 7th. Still an excellent season but can't see them winning many games between now and May.

Same here, as the late James Goldsmith once said, "when you spot a bandwagon, you've missed it" as soon as the pundits started hyping them up, and like you said it happens quite a lot
