Premier League(midweek)Games 8/9/10 May

It were the Russians, I tell ye!

Southampton hit by Swansea hotel cancellation ahead of relegation clash

Ooh naughty swans lol, hope saints bury them later for that
I hope Soton wins so we can become Centurians! ;-)

Unfortunately, though, I have a feeling the powers that be want a draw so that the relegation fight goes to the weekend. After we won the league so early, despite attempts to slow us down, there has been some interesting officiating to ensure the scrap at the bottom of the table drags out. I am convinced there have been other forces in play, desperately trying to keep viewer interest and TV ratings up for advertising dollars.

I think you are right they need to drag that and the top 4 out till sunday, the only downside of a saints win tonight is that our game won't be on the box

Southampton beat Swansea
Swansea beat Stoke
We beat Southampton
Chelsea and Arsenal beat Huddersfield

That'll do, pig.

One of the very few benefits of living in the states now: every game is available for viewing.

Though, NBCSN did implement a one time $60 fee for a year subscription to their ‘Gold’ streaming service this year and then strategically showed at least one or two games for each team only on that service earlier on in the season, forcing any dedicated supporter (not wanting to watch a bad stream, with horrible commentary, if at all) to pay the fee so as to not miss the match.

We all knew they would do it eventually but it is still a **** tactic, as you have to pay the full fee for the entire year (there are no monthly subscription options) and after those two matches, not a single City match has been relegated to the service.

Crafty fuckers, they always find a way to rinse the consumer,i have found streams harder to come by in recent weeks so it's been good for me we have been on the telly so much, have a couple of new places for this week that i'll try out tonite, have to sort something out for next season

You are not alone. All of the broadcasters (and the PL themselves) have seemingly gotten much better at shutting them down very quickly, which is why I still chose to pay for the service and am still grateful that the all the matches on the box are also available through NBCSN’s normal streaming service, as I travel quite a lot for work these days so I am not always near a telly.
