Premier League or Champions League?

I would choose the Premier League because four times in a row has never been done in history. And I'm sure that's what Pep has in mind this season as his number 1 objective.

He even mentioned it in his reaction post match.

“It is football, it happens. We do not have to win the Premier League. No team ever has won four Premier League in a row.

“We are behind but it is October. Last season it happened but the season is long.

“We have people coming back and we will try to beat upcoming opponents like Brighton and United. We will continue.”

I just love that last paragraph .

I usually prefer the PL but four in a row is unlikely to be equalled, never mind beaten, so I'll settle for the CL this season.

Now we've got the CL/treble out of the way, the PL is definitely the priority.

I'd swap both for a clean bill of health on the "115" though!

Can't believe this keeps coming up, Champions League is still a cup competition, lose one wrong game you are out, (even draw 2 against Madrid last year, and lose on penalties)

The real test of quality, and the one to win EVERY year is the League !

We have won 4 PL titles in a row. We can do with more CL titles, plus it will make it easier for us to attract top players.

The likes of Mbappe and Bellingham go to Madrid for a reason, and the reason is that Madrid are the kings of the CL. Top players don't go to Madrid in order to win La Liga. I think many don't understand the importance of the CL for the future of the club. Winning the CL more often can help the club thrive even when Pep isn't here anymore.

That said, it would be very difficult to win something big without Rodri, especially in the context of our aging midfielders. But with Pep many things are possible.
