Premier League Table without Var- City worst affected after Norwich

VAR somehow misses Robertson's challenge on the young Spurs full back but sends Aubameyang off

According to the Sky pundits, Robertson got the ball first, then committed the foul. A yellow at best.

According to Liverpool fans across comment pages, it wasn't a foul at all, as Robertson got the ball first. But what do you expect from the deluded f***ers?

More damning is the Referee not even giving a fowl, never mind at least a yellow card. And the lack of interference by VAR. Again for Liverpool!

And the throw in for Liverpool that led to the goal, which should have gone to Spurs.

Saying that, Spurs should have equalised near the end of the match.

He had played the ball and Tanganga came in late would have been the thinking.
I know he touches the ball first but neither Aubemyang or Robertson went in to do their man. There was much more force behind Robertson's challenge than Aubameyang's. Aubameyang was unlucky he caught the player on the ankle. Complete accident. Robertson catches the Spurs player higher up. I agree he didn't intend it, but it was endangering the opponent.

Harder to miss those chances than score. Liverpool totally lost control of that game.

i love the VAR's liverpool handball verdict ( 'inconclusive' ) they was playing in the newest stadium in the premier league and must have 30 odd cameras on the game, and they could not find a clip showing the liverpool player handball after it was flicked up ??? can i just say that city laporte vs spurs VAR they found a clip showing it clipped his fingers ?? so they can find a clip if they wanted but choice to use ( 'inconclusive' ) because they want liverpool to win the game and title

More pathetic was the way the tv and written media excused it away as clever play and that he felt contact, was entitled to go down and win the penalty for his side.

Cut to us and others and the narrative changes completely.........

If you compare that one to the one we got when Marhez was fouled V Wolves it tells you all you need to know about the pundits and media in the country

Getting a touch on the ball means nothing and hasn't for years.

Its reckless and endangers an opponent.

Its exactly why we have VAR and Its a red card.

Reckless is a yellow card
Dangerous is a red card
