President Joe Biden

Yeah, "there's plenty more". Plenty more of what? Plenty more examples. Are you ok?
@Bigga, I think that was a misunderstanding. cjn agree with him or not, will honestly and forthrightly discuss the evidence as they are...

The "I'm done with you" in context can be fairly read 2 ways. One is that he is done with you personally, and 2 is that he is done with your claim because he believes he has provided enough evidence to disprove it.

That's said, even if you conclude that the first reading is the only legitimate one, it still won't absolve you of the responsibility to respond to the actual substantive part of the post he presented with evidence.

You can simultaneously decry his willingness to discuss further ( assuming you believe he meant he was done talking to you), while still responding to the substance already put forward.

Often in this discussions, it is not the person you are discussing with ( i.e arguing against) that you are trying to convince, rather it's everyone else who is reading with an open mind. Thus a response is always appropriate. Even when the other side claims (or feigns) disgust and claims they'd stop responding to you.

You know, like the song said "Do it for the vine!" :)

I shouldn't have laughed at that middle bit but I admit I did. I did see a lot of people getting behind Cuomo but it's too late now I suppose. I don't know a lot about his politics but I think he has been quite vocal about Corona Virus.

I don’t know the first thing about Cuomo but it does show how the the US has sunk that a man who seems to be across the subject matter, presents some slides, answers questions, does not need to slavishly read from a script and tries to tell hard truths to the public is held up so high - that should be the basics. That standard should be set by the President

@Bigga Can't argue with that :(

I must admit I was stunned when Sanders came out with Biden could beat #45.

At that point, I thought 'then why are you running?'! I think he may have said the same of Buttigieg and co.

These things are an automatic response from Sanders, who doesn't think about the optics, but thinks about 'ability' first.

Maybe Sanders said that Biden could beat Trump because he realises it’s true, and is more in touch with reality than his more deluded acolytes such as yourself.

Per The Hill:

"Trump will undoubtedly attack Biden on Social Security and claim to be the real supporter of the program. But don’t be fooled. Don’t be taken in by Trump’s lies and dishonest promises. The two parties – and their respective candidates — are as far apart on Social Security as they have been in many decades. Unfortunately, no modern-day Republican politician can be trusted to protect our earned benefits. Quite the opposite."

lol, before it was that he had no plan, and now that I showed you that he does in fact have a detailed plan, the response is that it doesn't count because you personally haven't seen it? Ok.

Also, he has been in and on the mainstream media.

Here's the op-ed he wrote for the New York fucking Times a week ago:
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/12/opinion/joe-biden-coronavirus-reopen-america.html

Here's his CNN appearance:
https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/12/poli...plan-opinion-editorial-coronavirus/index.html

There's plenty more, but I'm done wasting my time with you.

Now, that you're being somewhat civil, I'm happy to discuss the op-ed with you, at length.

I maintain that sticking a 'plan' on a website means you have little chance of people, other than nerds and Biden diehards actually visiting the site. It won't be reaching the older voting block for sure and # 45 is in the same hunt for those voters and he's on TV.

Also just note, however, I have said earlier in this thread there is NOTHING unique that he's been saying that hasn't already been discussed.

So with that said, I read the op-ed and "there is NOTHING unique that he's been saying that hasn't already been discussed" just like his TV appearance on the same subject!! This is what you Americans call "Monday morning Quarterback", is it not?

What he ISN'T discussing, is

a) Why not push for self testing? Why not advocate for the idea that all household should get an affordable and accurate kit, so a real time account of who's affected and who's not cold be worked upon and

b) Wow to make a real difference to American lives by untangling your healthcare with your job. Really, why isn't he discussing it as one has nothing to do with the other?!

c) He should, at least, be offering an alternative response Q&A to the MSM to see what his angle would be. Writing something down in print is great for

I don't accept the other excuses people have for him like "he doesn't get involved until Nov" or "he has no say in what's happening now". Well, if it's anything like that he should STFU until Nov and let #45 run himself into the ground or find a way through this mess and confront #45 then.

Once Biden takes an actual progressive step forward you'll see me criticise him less.

Ah yes, "deluded".

That's the description of a Happy clapper when watching a guy stumble around for 10 mins on vid with all the excitement of a happy sloth.

"Deluded" is cheer leading that same guy to "smash" #45 in Nov debates.

"Deluded"? You keep screaming it at me however you please if it helps you feel better.
