Anyone remotely left wing and not from over the pond should give up any hope that the place will ever ellect anyone who isn't a capitalist, both parties are exactly that with the republicans a bit more to a lot more conservative.

I haven't got a dog in this fight, being from and living in, the UK but I have to say - and I cannot believe I'm about to say this - if I was an American given the choice in front of me I would almost certainly vote for trump.
Biden, like Clinton before him, is the perfect example of a privileged liberal elitest who views his "base" as scum to be patronised and spoken down to.
Trump isn't much better but if you have a choice between two twats I'd always choose the twat that actually believes in more of what he says than the twat that says what he thinks you want to hear but doesn't believe it himself.

Trump gets a daily 2 hour rally on the Networks and has stitched up social media. Bernie needs to get some of his bros to up Bidens social media output.

Does it realy matter, as with the last presidential election you have a choice between a twat and a bastard, neither probably fit to run a country.
At least biden isn't trump is the only real thing going for him.
I mean, he was only the vice president for eight years, so I'd love to hear YOUR suggestions about who you think is "fit to run a country."
I think they were mostly overreactions to the false claims that his challenge, and the later failure to support bthe nominee by his supporters, was why Hillary lost in 2016. So he went out of his way to always claim Trump was the worst and any Democrat was better than Trump. Which is the right long-term opinion to have, but not necessarily state while you are still in a fight.I must admit I was stunned when Sanders came out with Biden could beat #45.
At that point, I thought 'then why are you running?'! I think he may have said the same of Buttigieg and co.
These things are an automatic response from Sanders, who doesn't think about the optics, but thinks about 'ability' first.
His actions are a disservice to the Democrats. Frankly, the whole primary election of everyone being soft on each other, except on Sanders of course, was a disservice to the party for the General election.
Very little vetting whatsoever occurred of any of the candidates. Not even Sanders. Even though he was being shunned and diminished by the press, there was a general sense of congeniality about the whole thing. None of the candidates was willing to go all out on the offensive and point out the flaws of the others and why that candidate can't win.... That may or may not be a good thing.
I suppose we'll find out.
