President Joe Biden

My only concerns with who’s your President boil down to :

- someone not likely to start needless wars

- coming to our (NATO’s) aid if and when needed

- giving us a decent trade deal

- someone who’s not going to be a total **** to your citizens

I don’t really see anything else as my business, you could argue the last point isn’t but I’m a nice guy.

Biden is not averse to being in a war. It's his 'tough' persona.

He'll do the NATO thing.

A "decent trade deal" will depend if he agrees with Obama's "back of the queue" statement now that the UK has 'left the European Union.

The last might depend on how he deals with the former.

It was more of a general post to be honest, wasn’t weighing on Biden vs Trump.

The things you were suggesting to be done, sanders was trying to do from his platform and he's not from the "corporate world".

I mean his supporters, bub. I mean Wall Streeters, corporate lawyers, big business kingpins. Surely they can't deny their backgrounds as exploiters to become progressives, and if they do, that would be hypocritical.

"Does that include you"? Does WHAT include me? Am I a supporter of some of Biden's policies? Yes. Are you?

Reading it back I should have been more specific, but it was a couple of days ago and one of my last posts, I think.

It should have been framed as per the quote:

"You cheered on his polices despite the fact that "very few of us here wanted Biden as ours".

Does that include you?"

As in, were you one of the 'few'?

I don't know if Sanders had any 'supporters' from the corporate world as, as you say, it would be hypocrisy.

With that said, that's not to say you can't have elements of corporate and progressive ideals.

Sanders(or Progressives) don't mind that at all.

Yeah, not anymore, I guess — as hardliner and apparent “hypocrite” Brianha Joy Gray who you referenced earlier was a corporate lawyer and now disavows her support of him. I guess she was a hypocrite when she was his press secretary though.

I assume you hold the “sins” of her past against her.

I think I already said I can work with most any Democrat and even some Republicans’ policies as long as Donald Trump is removed. Which is why I would have voted for Sanders in three seconds flat had he won the nomination.
