President Joe Biden

You simply haven't been objective about anything come Biden's policies.

That is a wholly unfair criticism of the poster, not true, and you owe said poster an apology.

This is what is frustrating about interacting with you.

So many of us have made it ABUNDANTLY clear why we are voting for Biden. Some of us like him more than others. All of us are unified in the fundamental reason why we are supporting him: to get Trump out of office before he does more damage to the USA.

You are literally the only regular poster on this thread who isn't espousing this perspective, save supporters of Trump.

Your favored option isn't available, and very few of us here wanted Biden as ours. Difference is we are making do for the greater good, and you aren't. That's progress -- not the progress that's ideal, but progress -- important progress -- nonetheless.

What kind of "progressive" is indifferent to Trump or Biden?

What apology do I owe, when I'm "factually" correct as he likes to say.

I noted that despite disliking Biden, what policies has he been objective about?

I could put you in the same category.

You cheered on his polices despite the fact that "very few of us here wanted Biden as ours".

Does that include you?

Mate, you nor I have any idea who he's considering, other than he's stated he'll select a woman. Plus I'm not certain who'd be "progressive" enough for you.

Sanders clearly isn't progressive enough -- he's endorsing Biden. Right?

It should be noted that the VP slot, in addition to being used to broaden geogrpahic appeal of the Presidential candidate, is sometimes a way to silence and cut the nuts off a roustabout (see Lyndon Johnson and Teddy Roosevelt), albeit given Biden is almost certain to be a one-term President it may be a different kind of post than it has been this time round.

Sanders was trapped by his own high brow promise as he did with Clinton.

He's lost a LOT of respect from the Progressive wing.

Even the names being bandied about, right now, can you tell me one that's considered a Progressive(don't include flip-flopping Warren)?

Not one I think that would satisfy you. Who WOULD satisfy you? No one.

Sanders is the enemy now, is he?

You’ve marginalized yourself.

Me? I'm merely disappointed.

He's not my enemy, nor is he that for others.

You're attaching that accusation to Progressives.

I'm expressing how a lot of the other harder lined Progressives feel, like his own former campaign manager Brihana Joy-Gray.

I have no idea what you are trying to say/imply.

I’ve realized now why communicating has been so hard. You aren’t actually a Progressive which has been my mistake all along. You’re actually on an island by yourself with your views.

You can afford to be, I guess, because you don’t have any skin in what happens. You can hold out for your “perfect” candidate because there’s no downside to you if one never comes around.

No such thing as a (political) party of one.

Well, let me ask it this way — do you think a Progressive can emerge from the corporate world or will that person always be tainted by the biases taught there? Can you meld progressive ideology with capitalism?

Such a convoluted answer for a simple question...

Whilst not from a corporate world, you ask a question Sanders was trying to do, therefore you have your answer.
