This year — I repeat THIS YEAR — it IS binary. It’s about the removal of a man monumentally, staggeringly unfit for the job. We are trying to fire the worst hiring mistake in America Inc.’s history. This election isn’t about party or policy.

I voted for Mitt Romney, Ronald Reagan, and the first Bush. I voted for both Clintons, Gore and Obama the first time around (which was very much a symbolic vote). Which side am I on?

Almost everyone here has criticized Biden. Almost all of us preferred someone else. He’s imperfect. I thought Steve Bullock was an excellent candidate. He entered too late and never got momentum. Hopefully he’ll be Montana’s next Senator.

But Biden is infinitely better than Trump on every level. I’m taking no chances. I plan to beat anyone not instantly choosing Biden into verbal submission, which means I’ll brook no criticism of him until after he wins. I’m exaggerating for effect but that’s how important removing Trump is to me.

You’re right, we now find ourselves in a situation where people have nailed their flag to a camp and anyone who criticises that camp must be painted as a dangerous extremist, who must be dealt with.

We could just “beat them into verbal submission” or shame them into dropping their valid opinions.

Our mates on Twitter can all follow each other and gang up on dissenting voices and we can even try and force their employers to sack them.

Then we can be sad enough to preach on a football forum in another country at how righteous we are and those in other countries making an honest assessment are aiding our President.

Several times on this thread I’ve been told and proven that it was incorrect, that my opinion is due to lack of knowledge, because I dared criticise the Democrats.

You don’t know Clinton if you’re just going to downplay her past like that.
