President Joe Biden

I've been away a while, but understand your post has the words "if implemented" verbally stated by Biden's pal, Sanders, himself. The 'task force' is meant to look busy whilst keeping Progressives onside.

Anyway, here's your next brilliant Pres offering up thoughts on healthcare, you know, as he 'gets it, man!'...

So essentially, because Biden is pragmatic enough to think it would be a bit difficult to change the US to a NHS system, you don't think he "gets it".

I dunno.

Like Doel says Biden is heavily funded by the health insurance industry (and this is true of all politicians in opposition to M4A) and all it really takes is the same politicians that voted for trillions of dollars to bail out huge corporations who rake in the massive profits with little tax going back into the system, to vote for the taxpayer to get their own money back in the form of paying for their health... a bit like, I dunno, medicare.

"A bit difficult" means weaning the leeches that are the insurance companies from the veins of the American people allowing their taxpayer money to get to where it needs to get to and that's out of the pocket of all leeches, politicians included.

What does the insurance industry really offer the client, apart from telling them what they can have as an op, which doctor they can use and where they can have it, all whilst syphoning off a great deal of money for the privilege...?

You're clearly someone who believes what they're told by Govs about the state of play for their citizens. I think you call this being "pragmatic"...?

Good for you. There is nothing to see here. Move along citizen.

All is well...

Well good luck persuading Americans to pay more compulsory tax so that they can freely pay lower insurance premiums.

What are you talking about??

Telling US citizens that paying just over half their current cost in insurance for taxes into a system that allows them freedom of doctor and surgery care should be a no brainer, but politicians don't want that, so they feed people the teat of lies.

It's the 'socialism' they hate as it restricts their ride of free money and status, forcing them to look like they actually care for its citizens instead of their own pockets.

No 'out of pocket' expenses, no 'co-pay', no 'deductibles' and realistically the job that takes from them for insurance, should reimburse the worker in terms of a pay rise to cover the former deducted pay.

A massive win for the citizen, but they're not told any of it by any neolib politician leeching of the taxpayer.

@Bigga I’m still keeping you and your schtick on ignore but I thought you’d appreciate this — I thought of you. Point made.

You wanna keep me on ignore, fine, but you won't see my reply.

You have to question the unwillingness to deny a country healthcare that even the Cubans can enjoy and that's where Biden is. When this dumb 'joint task force' was mentioned it surprised me. It surprised me further when the proposals were announced from it.

My surprise calmed after Sanders said "if implemented" the proposals would be the most progressive since FDR and calmed even further after finding out Biden has yet to look over these proposals.

My 'surprise' returned to the normal state of expectancy when I found out Pramila Jayapal hadn't even raised her own proposal of M4A at the task force as it means she knew it would have been dismissed out of hand!

Imagine finding out these Green proposals, worked upon, aren't even going to take any real effect until 2050, 20 years after supposed time for Earth would be up.

Honestly, the whole thing is an utter sham, but you guys carry on back slapping...
