And so with #45 already using a particular strategy against Obama, I wouldn't be hesitant for them to use it again. It would be logical for the US administration to do so; 'divide and conquer'.

And Biden hasn't done himself any favours citing who is 'Black' and who is not, if they question voting for him.

If this was any other situation, one could not guarantee an outcome for either old man winning.

It just so happens one is hated more than the other. So, taking into account there's 55% - 60% of people that actually vote, it would be an absolute toss up in normal circumstances and may not even be guaranteed now.

I do not doubt they are and will continue to employ that hateful, abhorrent strategy, among many others.

I think this is largely true.

However, I've seen in some circles Harris' situation has made them rather not vote or write-in and vote down ballot.

I think it's interesting, personally and nowhere near as clear cut as people think.

Back to the election, we have 2 parties and the best they can come up with is these 2 men.

That video which i have no doubt will go viral and be seen and discussed non stop up until the election and ive no doubt, women and girls coming out of the woodwork with accusations about him will finish him and allow that orange **** another 4 years.

So it's gotten no traction. And even if it did, you'd have to juxtapose it with Trump slobbering over his daughter, his adventures with Epstein, a porn stars, settled lawsuits, what he was caught on tape saying -- and that's stuff we all know about. So they cancel each other out. We've already had one woman come out of the woodwork re: Biden and that didn't really go anywhere. If Trump's not using this as a line of attack already, you KNOW it's not going to work. And he isn't because he has no legs to stand on in terms of taste for the flesh of under-aged women (including one related to him) and women generally.

Trump isn't "just as bad", he's miles worse with REAL lawsuits and settlements and words caught on tape and books written on the subject! Even TRUMP knows that, which is why he's not using it as a stick to beat Biden with, and won't.

Anyhow, I'm just telling you how it is over here, not trying to explain it.

KH ran a disorganized campaign, light on funds, and she herself is light on national experience. She's not a trusted tried-and-true name like Biden, nor a progressive idealist like Sanders, which is what the Democratic camp appeared to break between, and of those voters focused on something other than those two choices, Mayor Pete stole the oxygen.

Early voting starts in six weeks and polling averages are settling at Biden +7.5 post conventions. Still the debates to go obviously (though I think they're generally overrated), but campaigns in this position don't lose very often.

Was just coming on to post this, as well, which goes some way to better explaining the range of potential outcomes within the constraints of the US president electoral system to those outside of the US without a more deep interest or understanding of the system. This shocks my family when I try to explain it to them, for example (enough that my great uncle thought I was making it up).
